A small original general-knowledge set provides a dependable fallback when an open catalog is unavailable.
Topic matching and quality checks
Wikidata, Wikipedia, and relevant Fandom MediaWiki APIs may supply aliases, descriptions, and search context used to understand a requested topic and filter catalog questions. Their article text is not turned into new trivia questions by the game.
The app also applies relevance, length, answer-shape, duplication, medium, and question-variety checks. These checks improve quality but cannot guarantee that every community-contributed question is correct.
Background images
Topic backgrounds may come from the WordPress Photo Directory or Wikimedia Commons. The host screen displays the creator and license supplied with the selected image and links to its source page. Wikimedia licenses vary by file; the linked file page controls.
Share-alike notice
Trivia adapted from CC BY-SA sources remains available under CC BY-SA 4.0. You may share and adapt that licensed question content if you provide attribution, link to the license, indicate changes, and distribute adaptations under the same license. The application’s original interface, branding, and code are separate from third-party question content.
Corrections
If a question is inaccurate or attribution appears incomplete, use the contact page and include the topic, question wording, and source label shown during the game.
