Game guide
One big screen. Everyone else uses a phone.
Trivia Night Now is built for living rooms, classrooms, parties, and any group that can see the host screen.
1. Create the room
Open the game on the television, laptop, or shared display and choose Create trivia room. The host screen shows a six-character room code and a QR code.
2. Join from phones
Players scan the QR code or open the site and enter the room code. They choose a nickname—no account is needed. That phone then keeps an anonymous room pass, so it reconnects automatically after a refresh, a closed browser, or a brief Wi-Fi interruption while the room is active.
3. Choose the trivia
The host can search for a subject or choose Surprise Me. Set the number of questions, answer time, reveal time, and host question size before starting.
4. Play together
The question appears on the host display. Player phones show the four answer choices only. Players can change a selection until time expires. Each round waits until the connected displays report that they are ready.
5. Reveal and score
The host reveals the correct answer after time expires. Correct players see their result on their phones, and the scoreboard updates during the reveal—not before it.
